Accepts Transfers:
Applying to Mount Union is easy, and transferring is even easier. The Mount Union curriculum is transfer friendly and helps you get the most out of your previously-earned credits.
Transfer Application Requirements
Minimum GPA:
Consideration for admission as a transfer student requires a minimum cumulative grade point average of a 2.0 (on an A = 4.0 scale; 2.0 = C) at the institution previously attended and documentation of good academic standing and honorable disciplinary standing on the Dean's Evaluation Form.
Official Transcripts:
Your official high school transcript and official college transcript(s) from all colleges/universities attended are required.
Essay:
As a general guideline, the length of your application essay should be a minimum of 300 words. Explain the reason for leaving your prior institution and the reason for selecting University of Mount Union.
Associates Degree Required:
Transfer students who have earned an associate degree from a regionally accredited institution are eligible to meet Mount Union’s general education requirements.
Other Requirements:
Student Standing Evaluation Form, to be completed by the student’s most recent institution to confirm good standing and eligibility for immediate re-enrollment.

Transfer Credit Policy
Minimum Grade:
For courses to transfer, they must have been earned at a regionally accredited institution, reflect a grade of "C" or higher, and be in an equivalent program offered by Mount.
Credits (Min/Max):
At least 48 semester hours must be completed at Mount Union.
