Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    For an of your prior courses to be accepted at Wooster, your cumulative GPA must be 2.5 or higher.
  • Official Transcripts:
    To have an unofficial evaluation of credits for possible transfer to The College of Wooster, have an official transcript sent to registrar@wooster.edu.
  • SAT Scores:
    We are test-optional, providing you the opportunity to present application material that accurately reflects their diverse academic talents and potential. You can submit either the SAT or ACT if you feel their results best represent your potential.
  • Interview:
    Although not required for admission, an interview is a highly recommended. Meeting with you individually allows us to best support your college search and application process.
  • Other Requirements:
    Complete the College Report with your current institution and have them send it to admissions@wooster.edu.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Typically, a C or above in a college class will give you general education credits at Wooster.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    To graduate from The College of Wooster, students must complete a minimum of 32 course credits (some of which can be earned from other institutions).
