  • Scholarships and Financial Aid:
    TSC awards millions of dollars in scholarships each year. Scholarships are awarded to students on merit basis and do not have to be repaid. Students can apply to all TSC scholarships every fall and spring using the online application. In addition, students can receive scholarships and grants from outside sources. These include state programs such as Florida Bright Futures. TSC also awards all Title IV eligible aid.

  • Accepts Transfers:
    Yes, Students who have earned credit at another college or university are considered transfer students. This does not include students who took dual enrollment (college credit) classes while in high school.
  • Transfer Applications Received:
    TSC receives approximately 1,700 or more transfer applications for a fall term.
  • Transfer Applications Accepted:
    All transfer applications are accepted at TSC.
  • Percentage Accepted:
    All students are accepted to TSC but to receive Financial Aid students must meet TSC's Standards of Academic Progress as stated in the college catalog.
  • Transfer Applicants Enrolled:
    Approximately 60% of the transfer students who apply to TSC for a fall term enroll at the college.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    TSC does not have any minimum GPA for transfer students.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Transfer students must submit official transcripts from high school and from all colleges and universities previously attended before registering for classes at TSC.
  • SAT Scores:
    Scores are not required but students are encouraged to provide test scores as it may determine course placement.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    Letters of recommendation are not required.
  • Essay:
    Essay is not required.
  • Application Fee:
    No application fee.

    Interview not required.

    Only required for Bachelor degree programs.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    TSC does not transfer in W or F grades. Depending on the grade required for the degree will determine whether the course will satisfy the degree requirement.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    A maximum of 75% of the credit hours required for degree completion and graduation at the College may be posted as transfer credit from another college, university, or other approved alternative sources.
