  • Marymount California University - Closed
    Rancho Palos Verdes, California
    Effective August 31, 2022, Marymount California University has closed with Summer 2022 the final term of instruction. Marymount has authorized Hope International University to serve as Marymount’s custodian of records.
  • Marylhurst University announced in May 2018 that the university would close by the end of the year; the last classes were offered summer term 2018.
  • Marygrove College will permanently close in December at the end of the Fall 2019 semester. In compliance with Higher Learning Commission requirements, Marygrove has entered into a teach-out agreement with Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan, and will enter into agreements with other institutions as needed to ensure that Marygrove students who are within one year of degree completion can do so through one of our teach-out partner schools. The agreements are pending approval by the HLC. All students will receive financial aid counseling and academic advising.

    Marlboro College will move its academic programs and become the Marlboro Institute for Liberal Arts and Interdisciplinary Studies on the Emerson College campus in Boston, effective the fall of 2020. Marlboro students will be admitted to Emerson.
