Financial Information

• Scholarships and Financial Aid:
  Need-based financial aid is awarded to students who demonstrate that their family's financial resources are not sufficient to meet the full annual cost of attending Kenyon. Aid awards usually consist of "packages," which include institutional grants, scholarships, loans, and campus employment. In some cases, students are also eligible for federal or state grants, and these are included in the total package.
• Tuition and Fees:
  Estimated Cost: $91,010. With academic merit scholarships and need-based financial aid, Kenyon is more affordable than you might think. After the award of scholarships and grants, the average net price is $47,474 - and could be less.

• Accepts Transfers:
  We accept a limited number of transfer students each year, depending on their class year and the availability of living accommodations.

Transfer Application Requirements

• Minimum GPA:
  In most cases, successful transfer applicants present grades of B or better in their current courses.
• Official Transcripts:
  Send us official transcripts from all high schools and colleges you've attended. They should list all your courses and grades, including this year's courses.
• SAT Scores:
  Kenyon currently has a test-optional policy. If you wish to submit standardized test results for consideration, you may still do so. Please note that Kenyon "super-scores" results for both the SAT and ACT.
• Letters of Recommendation:
  Academic Evaluation (a recommendation from a professor).
• Interview:
  Interviews are a recommended (but not required) part of the admissions process. The interview is a chance for you to get to know Kenyon better and for us to get to know you better.
• Other Requirements:
  Have a College Report completed by a registrar or dean/college official who can verify enrollment and academic standing sent to us. A Mid-Term Report is also required.

Transfer Credit Policy

• Minimum Grade:
  Credit from courses taken for letter grades and grades earned are C- or above from a regionally accredited institution may be transferred to Kenyon. Advanced approval is required.
• Credits (Min/Max):
  A Kenyon degree requires eight semesters of full-time undergraduate enrollment (1.50 units/12 semester hours or more). A minimum of four of these semesters, including the senior year, must be completed at Kenyon College, on the Gambier campus.
