  • Scholarships and Financial Aid:
    Both international and domestic transfer students at Denison are eligible for aid. There is no additional application for students to be considered for merit aid, simply submit the Denison Transfer Application and you will be eligible. Domestic applicants wishing to be considered for need-based aid will need to opt-into that by submitting a FAFSA and CSS Profile by the application deadline. All International applicants are required to submit a Denison Certificate of Finances.

    Tuition $71,000 | Housing & Food $17,400. With a work-study allowance of $4,500 for personal expenses and books the estimated total cost of attendance with be $92,900.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    Successful transfer applicants to Denison, in many cases, are earning As or Bs in their current courses, whether that be in a liberal arts or other environment.
  • Official Transcripts:
    An official transcript from all colleges or universities attended is required, as well as your official high school transcript.
  • SAT Scores:
    Denison applicants have not been required to submit ACT or SAT scores since 2008. If you choose to be a test-optional admission candidate, simply select that option on your application, and we will focus on all the other things that make you great.
  • Essay:
    No Supplemental Essay Required
  • Application Fee:
    No Fee to Apply for Admission
  • Interview:
    An interview is not required for admission consideration, but we do encourage applicants to complete one as an interview can provide a more personal element to your application.
  • Other Requirements:
    Students who have an interest in cinema, creative writing, dance, music, studio art, or theatre may submit supplementary arts materials for faculty evaluation. A completed student conduct report must come from all colleges or universities attended.

    The lowest grade earned for any course that may be transferred for credit is C.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    Denison accepts up to 62 hours of transfer credit. In order to graduate from Denison, a student needs to earn 64 credit hours at Denison.
