Financial Information

• Scholarships and Financial Aid:
  Students can apply for financial aid like grants or student loans using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). CSN uses your FAFSA information to determine your federal aid eligibility. Please be sure to list CSN in the School Selection portion of the FAFSA. Our Federal School Code is 010362.

Information for Transfer In Students

• Credit For Life Experience:
  Credit for work experience will be evaluated on the basis of a personal interview, verification of occupational experience, and the results of occupational competency examinations.

Transfer Application Requirements

• Official Transcripts:
  Getting your college transcript evaluated is an important step in transferring to CSN. Forward an official transcript or translated version in a sealed envelope or have one electronically submitted to the Office of the Registrar.
• Application Fee:
  There is a $20.00 one-time, non-refundable application fee charged to new students at the time of application submission.

Transfer Credit Policy

• Minimum Grade:
  The College will accept “D” grades as elective credit provided the cumulative grade point average (GPA)from the transfer institution, for the semester in question, is 2.0 or above.
• Credits (Min/Max):
  To meet graduation requirements, a transfer student must complete the appropriate 15 credit hours in residence for a degree or certificate.
