Information for Transfer In Students

  • Credit For Life Experience:
    Credit for work experience will be evaluated on the basis of a personal interview, verification of occupational experience, and the results of occupational competency examinations.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Official Transcripts:
    Getting your college transcript evaluated is an important step in transferring to CSN. Forward an official transcript or translated version in a sealed envelope or have one electronically submitted to the Office of the Registrar.
  • Application Fee:
    There is a $20.00 one-time, non-refundable application fee charged to new students at the time of application submission.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    The College will accept “D” grades as elective credit provided the cumulative grade point average (GPA)from the transfer institution, for the semester in question, is 2.0 or above.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    To meet graduation requirements, a transfer student must complete the appropriate 15 credit hours in residence for a degree or certificate.
