    Transfer students are warmly welcomed at Clarion. We accept all college-level courses (this excludes remedial and developmental courses) from regionally accredited institutions where a student has earned a grade of ā€œDā€ or better.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    In general, a minimum 2.0 gpa is preferred. A higher GPA may be required or preferred, depending on the major.
  • Official Transcripts:
    College transcript(s) from all institutions attended are required. Except for ASN and BSN majors, a high school transcript may not be required depending on the number of college credits completed.
  • SAT Scores:
    SAT/ACT scores are not required for transfer students.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    Encouraged but not required.
  • Essay:
    Encouraged but not required.
  • Application Fee:
    $35 fee or fee waiver.
  • Interview:
    Encouraged but not required.
  • Associates Degree Required:
    No.
  • Other Requirements:
    Additional requirements vary based on the program.
