  • Accepts Transfers:
    Whether your current college isn’t a good fit for you or you’ve relocated to the area and want to continue your undergraduate studies, Franciscan University of Steubenville in Ohio welcomes you. In fact, 35% of our students are transfers.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.2 or higher on a 4.0 scale from your previous college or university. Applicants with a GPA above 2.0 may be considered for conditional admission.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Send an official copy of your high school transcript to the Admissions Office. Those transferring from another institution must submit official transcripts from every institution attended.
  • SAT Scores:
    If you have completed 24+ college credits from an accredited institution, SAT/ACT scores are not required. If you have completed fewer than 24 college credits, your high school GPA and SAT/ACT scores or essay may be required.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    No letters of recommendation are required.
